We will have our 3rd Home and School meeting on Tuesday, February 20 starting at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall. Childcare and pizza will be provided for children ages 3 and up in the Early Childhood Center. The agenda for the evening will include the New Tuition Model for 18-19, Fundraising for 18-19, and more. Please plan to attend so you can be informed about what we are doing!
Homework Club for 1st and 2nd grades is cancelled for today. Any student who was going to Mrs. Phelps for Homework Club will be sent to Aftercare if not picked up in the car line after school.
We will have a meeting for parents who are interested in being involved in fundraising in 18-19. We have several families who are involved and are looking for new families who can help out on our committees for Fall Festival, Breakfast with Santa/Christmas Shoppe, and more. It takes a village of committed people to keep these successful school fundraisers going, so please take an hour to come out and join us! New ideas are welcome! The meeting will be at 6:30pm in the school library on Tuesday, Feb. 13.

Because Valentine’s Day falls on Ash Wednesday this year, we will be celebrating Fat Tuesday AND Valentine’s Day tomorrow (Feb. 13). Students will be in uniform, but they can wear red or pink Valentine socks or jewelry AND/OR wear Mardi Gras beads. Wednesday, we will be celebrating Ash Wednesday at our 8:30am school mass, and students will be receiving ashes. Families are always welcome to join us for our school masses. All students must be in school uniform for the mass day, as usual. Ash Wednesday masses will be at 8:30am, 12:15pm, and 7pm. Ash Wednesday is a day of fast and abstinence for Catholics from ages 14-59. Fasting means that a person can have two small meals and a 3rd larger meal for the day (The two small meals when combined should not be larger than the 3rd larger meal). Abstinence means that we abstain from eating meat. No meat will be served in the cafeteria on Ash Wednesday and Fridays during Lent.
