Admissions Process and Polices
Since 1958, St. Mary Catholic School in Brevard County offers strong academics with a Catholic foundation. As a top school, we aim to challenge students to reach their full potential and prepare for college. We invite you to tour our school. We welcome bright, curious, and confident students who are eager to grow academically and personally. Admissions are based on records, testing, recommendations, and interviews. Priority goes to siblings, alumni, and church members. Decisions prioritize each student's best interest. After spots are filled, qualified applicants join a waitlist. Our Admission process is simple. This page will take you step-by-step through the admissions process. Each new student application is $50 per student (non-refundable). If you have any questions, please contact our school’s office at (321) 636-4208.

Pre-K3 & VPK Program
At St. Mary Catholic School, we participate in the State funded Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program and offer a separate PreK three-year-old program. We provide exceptional prekindergarten education in a secure, faith-based setting.
St. Mary VPK program has been recognized by the Early Learning Coalition of Brevard County for consistently achieving 100% kindergarten readiness for our students. The VPK program entails 540 hours of instruction for the full school year program. Our VPK and PreK curriculum include Religion, Art, Music & Physical Education.

At St. Mary Catholic School, we believe in giving every child the opportunity of an excellent Catholic education. Financial assistance is discussed with each family to understand your needs and the needs of your student(s).

Step Up for Students
The Step Up for Students Scholarship is an initiative of the Florida Tax Credit (FTC) Scholarship Program. The innovative program provides K-12 education scholarships for qualifying low-income students. The scholarships cover up to a projected amount for private school tuition.

FES-UA (formerly Gardiner and McKay Scholarship)
Florida’s school choice programs allow parents to choose the best educational setting—public or private—for their child. The McKay Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities provided over 31,000 Florida students with special needs the opportunity to attend a participating private school.

AAA Scholarship
The AAA Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships solely to qualifying low-income, disabled and/or displaced students. The scholarship is available to students Pre-K through 12th grade.
